AMERICAN DIRECTOR WILL PRESENT HIS FILM
The much-anticipated European festival Route 66 will also feature a showcase of very interesting and attractive films about our most famous road in the world.
We have already written several times about the Saturday premiere of David Havlena's film about the American journey of rock Doggy (starting at 5 PM).
Tomas Zindler, director of three popular Czech Route 66 films, will also be present in person. In the Friday afternoon program, he will talk about how to captivatingly film full-length documentaries with an old road as the main hero and will also screen one of them.
But our Friday cinematography doesn’t end there: film director Eric Carle Jr., a two-time Emmy Award winner among other honors, will fly in from the United States to present his television series titled DRIVEN: RETURN TO ROUTE 66 to the festival attendees.

Eric Carle Jr. is an Emmy award-winning American director and cinematographer with over 20 years of experience whose portfolio spans diverse genres and platforms, from live sports coverage and cable television programming to documentaries and independent feature films. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana of Slovakian-Irish descent, Eric Carle Jr got his start as a camera operator for Cox Communications before transitioning into directing and producing independent horror movies and behind-the-scenes footage for feature films in the Hollywood South market.
